Training Courses

A ReTweed training course, with four women spread out at tables with sewing machines while the trainer explains something to the group

Women in Berwickshire have the opportunity through our FREE TRAINING PROGRAMMES, to learn skills in craft, design and technology. Each student learns how to use a se

wing machine and create a range of furnishings, fashions and crafts. In addition, we support our students to identify their creative skills, aspirations and future opportunities.

The products made are sold to raise money to sustain the project and for promoting wider community good.

Our main 12-week training programme takes place at our workshop in Eyemouth. We also offer a shorter 6-8 week Community Courses in village halls and community centres throughout Berwickshire.

See details below for our next Community Course in Co'Path starting Wednesday 1

4th January 2026.

These include, sewing machine basics, patchwork, applique, wool crafts, rag rugging and others. Check our weekend workshops to book a place. (Workshops to be updated early 2026).
